Based in Rome, Hyland is developing a new body of work through practice-led research at RUFA. Working with temporary material structures constructed from found urban debris, she builds and photographs transient arrangements that are translated into painting. These works continue her investigation into impermanence, proximity, and the shifting value of overlooked materials within urban environments.
