Bowman Avenue Dam became the first Iranian cyber-attack campaign on US critical infrastructure following the US cyber-attack of the Iranian nuclear centrifuge facility. The digital controls could be controlled remotely releasing dam water. Critical infrastructure which could be controlled include electricity, water, gas, banking, stock market among others.
